The Marquis de Breteuil, heir to the ancestral home which is now a listed Historic Monument, is well versed in ways of bringing to life over three centuries of history. Inside the totally restored and richly furnished and decorated château, forty waxwork figures await visitors, from Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette to Marcel Proust, from Sleeping Beauty to Puss-in-Boots… When the bell rings for the performance of Perrault’s fairy tales your children will hang on every word of the narrator surrounded by characters dressed in period costume.
