The Château de la Madeleine is a property in the Yvelines overlooking the Chevreuse valley and is home to the Upper Chevreuse Valley Regional Nature Park’s Visitor Centre.
Construction began with the medieval keep and continued until the XIVth century. On your visit to the exhibition you will relive the long history of the château: the period when it witnessed the Hundred Years War, the succession of medieval lords, and the involvement of the famous dramatist Jean Racine, who supervised building works here in 1661. Extend your tour of the Chevreuse valley with a relaxing recreational weekend and walks in the Yvelines near Paris.
