Musée de la Batellerie in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine

In Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, France’s leading centre for traditional boat-building, the Musée de la Batellerie is the only museum of its kind in France.

Its eight galleries recount all aspects of the story of inland waterways and navigation. Its collections include 200 models of river craft, hundreds of artefacts connected to navigation, several hundred paintings, drawings and engravings, and thousands of photographs and post cards.
